Bhakti is Moksha itself. It is temporary Moksha during which the devotee is free from desires, sorrows, expectations, base feelings, etc. During the practise of Bhakti, the devotee forgets himself/herself and the world and is in union (yog) with God. He/She is aware of God alone and rises above his/her individuality (ego). That’s why it is also known as Bhakti-yog.
